Bar & cafe

The club’s Bar & Café is the hub of social life and has recently been refurbished to create a warm, modern and welcoming space for members and visitors. Whether you’re relaxing after a match, meeting friends, or waiting for junior sessions to finish, it’s the perfect place to unwind with a unique setting with views across our tennis courts. With a giant TV showing live sport, it’s a popular spot for watching major sporting events together and enjoying the atmosphere of the club beyond the courts.

The café offers a tempting selection of delicious cakes, freshly prepared food and snacks, alongside a wide variety of drinks to suit all tastes — from coffees and soft drinks to beers, wines and spirits. Open throughout the week, the Bar & Café is as much about community as it is refreshment, providing a comfortable space to socialise, refuel and feel part of club life.

The club has a vibrant and friendly social scene, with a wide range of events throughout the year that help bring members together both on and off the court. Our activities are designed to be relaxed, inclusive and great fun, making it easy to meet new people and feel part of the club community.

On court, members can enjoy Grand Slam–themed tennis sessions, Rackets Days, and regular Team Nights, combining competitive play with a strong social atmosphere. These sessions are popular with players of all abilities and are a great way to mix the players of tennis, squash and racketball together.

Away from the courts, our calendar includes Members’ Nights, quiz nights, Christmas parties, and charity tennis tournaments, as well as monthly social lunches that bring together current and former members to stay in touch. If you’re looking for lively events or more relaxed get-togethers, there’s always something happening at the club.

venue hire

A room in our cafe is available for venue hire and provides a flexible space for a wide range of occasions. The facilities work well for parties, events and children’s birthday celebrations, with catering options available to suit different needs. On-court sessions can also be included as part of your booking, adding a fun and active element to any event. With a welcoming bar and café, the club is also a popular meeting point for regular groups and social gatherings.
