The inaugural Corroless Eastern-sponsored tennis tournament in aid of TennisAble - https://www.tennisable.co.uk/ was held on Wednesday 11th June.  The raffle raised a fabulous £300.

I am so glad that, with the cooperation of all the players, and referee Derek’s organisation, we were able start the matches early and finish before the rain set in - keeping up our record of never being beaten by the weather!!

Congratulations to the winners of the forward draw, Frances Hornor & Jo Gowing (Brooke TC).  The runners up were Kerry Williams & Lauren Denman (EATSC) and the winners of the backward draw were Mandy Driver and Fiona Doggett (Gorleston TC).  Andy Hunt, owner of Corroless, presented them all with beautiful bouquets prepared by Niche Flowers https://www.nicheflowers.com/

Bouquets were also presented to Sharon who prepared a delicious lunch and Sandra who manned the bar & coffee machine.  Another bouquet was presented to youngster, Macey Wright, who has been on work experience with Derek and who also won the NLTA Young Person of the Year award.

Our final event, The Louise Willgrass Memorial tournament, will be held on Wednesday 30th September.
