On Tuesday 5th May, 20 pairs of ladies from all over Norfolk congregated at East Anglia Tennis & Squash Club for the Niche Flowers Ladies’ Charity Tennis Tournament.  The weather was perfect as they competed initially in a round robin culminating with a quarter final, semi final and final.  Derek Perry made sure the event ran smoothly (not always easy with 40 ladies chatting!)

EATSC members Kerry Williams & Helen Newstead were the victors, the runners-up were Maria Harwood (Bannatynes) and Shelley Long (Stanmore TC) and the third place winners were Alison Gilmour and Sally Hardwick (Cringleford TC).  All received a beautiful bouquet from Niche Flowers.  Following the tennis a delicious lunch was prepared and served by long-standing catering manager Sharon, ably assisted by Sandra who was kept busy at the coffee machine! The raffle raised a terrific £500.00 for the Pear Tree Fund.  https://peartreefund.org/
